The
Jitterbug
from Samsung
Ease of Use:
Overall
Rating:
This review is not
complete and we have not had our hands on one of these but the Jitterbug
phone looks like one fo the most simple cell phones to use ever...More
is coming soon.
It
comes in two models; the white/graphite and the OneTouch.
White/Grahite:
The Jitterbug
in white or graphite offers a standard keypad with large, backlit buttons
that are easier to see. If you wish to have the flexibility to dial
numbers that are not in your phone list, this is the right phone for
you.
OneTouch:
The
Jitterbug OneTouch offers three oversized buttons instead of the standard
key pad. The operator button connects you immediately with the Jitterbug
operator 24-hours a day. The middle button can be personalized for the
number you call most often: HOME, TOW, FRIEND, WORK, or MY CHOICE. The
"911" button connects you immediately with emergency services.
You can also dial direct using your personal phone list.
Service
Plans :
The
plans seem reasonable for a low use phone see them explained here:
http://www.jitterbug.com/ServicePlans/
They start at $15 for 30 minutes.
Pros: Simple,
affordable, well thought out features for the intended users
Cons: OneTouch seems a bit too easy, if you
can't dial a phone number you probably don't need to
